RUNMUMS Mothers Day 5K 2020, Bitts Park, Carlisle.
***IMPORTANT NOTICE – EVENT CANCELLED***
Due to the current situation with COVID19, otherwise known as the corona-virus, we have taken the very tough decision to CANCEL this year’s RUNMUMS Mothers Day 5K.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we are aware that runners and volunteers alike will be extremely disappointed.
The RUNMUMS Mothers Day 5K is a non-profit event, with the costs of the event covered by ourselves and our amazing business sponsors, with all of the entry fees you pay helping to support our chosen charity, Eden Valley Hospice.
As of today, March 16th, expenditure for the 2020 event has been covered by our sponsors and by cancelling now we can minimise any further expenditure which will allow us to roll the event funding over to 2021.
This then will allow us to refund all of your entry fee.
Anyone who does not request a refund then their entry fee will go to Eden Valley Hospice just as if the event had taken place.
To claim your refund please contact us by email at –
Don’t forget to state your full name and order number.
Finally, it’s a very sad time as we strongly believe in supporting our local charities, especially Eden Valley Hospice, their fund raising activities will inevitably suffer this year, but we feel very strongly that cancelling the event is simply the most responsible thing to do.
We would like to thank you all in advance for your patience as we anticipate a very high volume of emails but hope to have all refunds processed within next few weeks.
Please note that if you have raised any sponsorship for Eden Valley Hospice then this must be returned.
On a more positive note we are looking forward to seeing you all on the 14th March 2021 with the return of the RUNMUMS Mothers Day 5K!
We can all keep supporting Eden Valley Hospice, by entering or transferring across to our virtual runs. We have a limited number of medals but you can enter here at –
